We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Processor to join our growing team. The Mortgage Loan Processor will play a key role in ensuring mortgage applications are accurate, complete, and compliant with lending regulations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in loan processing, a strong understanding of mortgage industry practices, and excellent organizational skills.

You will be trained on our proprietary loan software, but prior experience with loan origination systems and mortgage documentation is highly valued.

• Loan File Review & Documentation
• Review mortgage loan applications for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with guidelines.
• Collect, verify, and analyze applicant documentation (income, credit, assets, liabilities, title, insurance, etc.)
• Prepare complete loan files for underwriting, ensuring all required conditions are satisfied.

• Collaboration & Communication
• Work closely with loan officers, underwriters, and clients to resolve documentation or information gaps.
• Communicate professionally with clients, title companies, appraisers, insurance agents, and other third-party vendors.
• Provide timely updates to all parties involved in the loan process.

• Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure loans comply with federal, state, and local lending regulations.
• Follow company policies and industry standards, including TRID, RESPA, and HMDA requirements.
• Monitor for red flags and escalate issues to management when necessary.

• Pipeline & Workflow Management
• Track and manage assigned loan files to ensure deadlines are met for closings and funding.
• Maintain accurate records and loan status updates in the company’s loan software.
• Support process improvements and contribute to team efficiency.

• 2+ years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Processor or in a similar mortgage/lending role.
• Strong understanding of mortgage loan documentation, credit analysis, and lending guidelines.
• Experience with loan origination systems (LOS) and CRM tools; ability to quickly learn new software.
• Knowledge of FHA, VA, Conventional, and other loan products is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple files at once.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote setting.
