Description
- Oversee coding operations for the ED/Surgery department.
- Ensure accurate coding and compliance with regulations.
- 100% adherence to productivity, quality, and client service-level agreements (SLAs) while driving continuous improvement in revenue cycle operations.
- Train and mentor coding staff to improve performance.
- Conduct audits and provide feedback on coding practices.
- Collaborate with physicians and administration on coding-related issues.
- Analyse coding trends and report findings to management
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field.
- Experience Level: 3-5 years in ED/Surgery coding with proven leadership skills.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in ED, EM, and OP coding, CPT/ICD-10-CM coding, data analytics, and AI-assisted coding.
- Working Conditions: Office environment with potential remote work options; commitment to team collaboration.
- Qualities and Traits: Strong critical thinking, effective leadership, attention to detail, and adaptability.
