Conveyor Designer is responsible for designing and developing efficient conveyor systems and material handling equipment used in manufacturing, logistics, and industrial facilities. The role involves creating detailed 2D and 3D designs, layout drawings, and technical documentation using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor. The designer works closely with project engineers, production teams, and clients to develop customized solutions that meet specific operational, safety, and cost requirements. Typical duties include performing design calculations, selecting appropriate materials and components, preparing bills of materials, and ensuring designs comply with relevant industry standards. In addition to technical design, the Conveyor Designer may assist in project planning, provide support during installation and commissioning, and help troubleshoot design-related issues. Strong mechanical design skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential for success in this role.
