Our client, a MNC F&B chain seeks to hire a Category Strategy and Innovations Specialist to be based in CBD Singapore.
Responsibilities
Market Research & Data Analysis: conduct in-depth market research on the Southeast Asian (SEA) market, with particular focus on Singapore (SG), analyzing tea consumption trends, competitive landscape and supply chain dynamics to provide data-driven support for product development decisions
Consumer Research: investigate local consumer taste preferences through multiple research methodologies including surveys, in-depth interviews and blind taste tests, to accurately identify and address the specific flavor requirements of target consumer segments
Suggestion & Innovation: spearhead tea product innovation by transforming market insights - including flavor trends, ingredient functionalities and sensory optimization - into executable R&D projects through effective cross-departmental coordination
Post-Launch Evaluation: systematically gather post-launch consumer feedback and sales performance metrics for new drinks, working closely with R&D teams to develop continuous flavor innovations aligned with evolving market preferences
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science, Nutrition, Marketing, or related fields preferred
Minimum 3 years of experience of the tea beverage or FMCG
Familiar with the Southeast Asian (SEA) market is preferred
Proficient in English and Chinese
Willing to travel internationally for assignments
Strong market research and consumer insights capabilities
Proven ability to independently manage and execute research projects
Passionate about life; enjoys exploring new stores and novel experiences
