Job description:

·         Shipment key entry into system for import or export shipment declaration submission

·         Duty/tax calculation

·         Shipment commodity classification.

·         Closely liaise with Air/Sea freight Coordinators and Import/Export Coordinators for complete documentation needed, duties/taxes involve, and other declaration matters for import/export shipments

·         Liaise with the Brokerage Airport and Muara port teams to ensure all shipments are with proper documentation for a smooth custom clearance process

·         High value and Low value manifest preparation for import shipments. Airline booking, document preparation, scanning and sorting of export shipments (Air/Sea freight, UPS)

·         End of the day updated report posting into team internal group chat

·         Monitor and reply inquiries from local and international clients / counterpart with regards to shipment status and other inquiries related to assigned job task

·         Shipment packing, repacking, labelling

·         Daily report submission

·         Document filing

·         Answer incoming phone calls

·         Age: 30 to 38 years old

·         Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Customs Administration

·         A very good knowledge in goods classification according to tariff coding system, import/export entry, custom declaration requirements, and process for both Air and Sea

·         Should have at least 3 years of experience in logistics field

·         Updated knowledge of legal and regulatory environments as well as import permit application

·         Have good customer service skills

·         Fluent in both spoken & written English
