Description

  • Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, and uniforms according to established procedures.
  • Operate industrial laundry machines (washers, dryers, etc.) and maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Inspect linens and towels for stains, damages, or other imperfections, and take appropriate action (e.g., spot cleaning, repairing, or discarding items).
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry room and storage areas.
  • Monitor inventory levels of detergents, softeners, and other laundry supplies and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
  • Ensure that all laundry meets cleanliness and quality standards before being returned to housekeeping or guests.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Assist with the delivery and storage of clean linens to designated areas within the facility.
  • Communicate with the housekeeping team to coordinate laundry requirements and schedules.
  • Follow proper handling procedures for delicate fabrics and special cleaning instructions.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, following sanitation standards.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry preferred.
  • Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning and folding techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
  • Good physical stamina to stand, lift, and move items throughout the shift.
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
