Description
- Assist chefs in food preparation and cooking.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Stock ingredients and supplies as needed.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
- Support kitchen staff during busy service times.
- Learn basic cooking techniques and recipes.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: High/Senior High School diploma required.
- Experience Level: No experience required; training will be provided.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in cooking skills, kitchen hygiene practices, stewarding tasks, and mise-en-place preparation.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and support kitchen staff in daily operations.
- Working Conditions: Fast-paced kitchen environment; may involve standing for long hours.
- Qualities and Traits: Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are essential.
