Description

  • Assist in food preparation (chopping, washing, marinating, etc.)
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment and work areas
  • Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients and leftovers
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
  • Dispose of waste and manage kitchen inventory under supervision
  • Assist in receiving and organizing deliveries
  • Perform other tasks as directed by the Head Chef or Supervisor

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior kitchen or food handling experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Physically fit; able to stand for long hours and lift moderately heavy items
