Description
- Assist chefs in food preparation and cooking tasks.
- Assist chefs in food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and manage kitchen inventory.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Help with inventory management and food storage.
- Follow health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members for smooth kitchen operations.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts/ NCII Cookery
- Experience Level: Less than 1 year of relevant experience in a kitchen environment.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in cooking, kitchen hygiene, and mise-en-place. Strong attention to detail and customer-oriented approach.
- Working Conditions: Fast-paced kitchen with potential for heavy lifting and standing for long hours.
- Qualities and Traits: Self-starter, discreet, effective communicator, and ability to work collaboratively.
