About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior IT Specialist to join our dynamic team at Multi Development And Construction Corporation (MDCC). As a Senior IT Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting and enhancing our organization's technology infrastructure and database systems. This full-time position is based in our Taguig City, Metro Manila office.

What you'll be doing

• Providing technical expertise and support for the design, development, and maintenance of our database systems
• Implementing and optimizing database solutions to improve performance, reliability, and security
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand and address business requirements
• Automating database processes and tasks to enhance efficiency
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex database-related issues
• Conducting regular backups, monitoring, and maintenance of database environments
• Documenting and continuously improving database-related processes and procedures
• Sharing knowledge and providing training to junior members of the IT team
• Handle end to end process of Odoo system.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in database development and administration, ideally in the construction or real estate industry.
• Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing database solutions, including hands-on experience with ERP system.
• Strong understanding of database concepts, such as indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Exceptional communication and documentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest database technologies and best practices
• Familiar with Odoo System.
