Job Summary:

The HR Associate – Recruitment and Learning & Development plays a key role in supporting the hotel’s human capital needs by ensuring timely recruitment of qualified talent and the effective delivery of training programs. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes and supporting employee learning initiatives to foster staff growth and service excellence. Working closely with HR leadership and department heads, the HR Associate ensures that staffing and training efforts align with the hotel’s standards and operational goals.

General Responsibilities:

Recruitment

  • Assist in developing job descriptions and posting job openings on various platforms.

Learning & Development

  • Organize and facilitate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
  • Support the development and implementation of training calendars and L&D strategies.
  • Track and maintain training records and analyze training effectiveness.
  • Coordinate internal and external training sessions across various departments.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify skill gaps and recommend appropriate training solutions.

Other Responsibilities

  • Assist in employee engagement activities, performance reviews, and HR events.
  • Ensure HR practices support a positive, service-driven work environment.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and reports.
  • Screen resumes, schedule interviews, and conduct initial assessments of candidates.
  • Coordinate with department heads for interview arrangements and hiring decisions.
  • Manage recruitment documentation and ensure compliance with labor laws and hotel policies.
  • Maintain a talent pipeline for key hotel positions to ensure staffing readiness.
