RECRUITMENT

  • Source and review/process duly approved personnel requisitions.
  • Identify qualifications of manpower needed in the department and recommend hiring of candidates based on set qualifications.
  • Recruit/source applicants from schools, government placement offices, and others.
  • Conduct initial interview of applicants and shortlist them based on their qualifications.
  • Interview candidates for vacant positions (hiring, promotion, rotation, reassignment) and make recommendations.
  • Ensure all placement and personnel movements are documented appropriately, according to policy, and that appointment letters/contracts are given on date of effectivity.
  • Perform background/character check of applicants.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

TRAINING AND ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

  • Facilitate New Employee Orientation and Corporate Affairs briefing, including use of tHRead.
  • Review and update all job profiles of all positions in the department to ensure standardization and effectiveness in recruitment, placement, and development.
  • Conduct Training Need Analysis (TNA) in coordination with department heads.
  • Update training record and Training Needs Analysis (TNA) of each employee.
  • Ensure training agreements are signed prior to every training.
  • Prepare monthly Demographics and Attrition Report and submit to TDG Corporate Center – HR.
  • Facilitate annual Employee Satisfaction Survey and submit summary to management.

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS (ER) AND LABOR RELATIONS (LR)

  • Participate in the preparation for employee retention-geared events such as:
  • Sports-related events
  • Company anniversary celebrations
  • Christmas parties
  • Health-oriented, social, and civic events
  • Family activities
  • Oversee HR’s participation in company and group-wide events
  • Create and implement Company Wellness Program.
  • Cascade and implement new/revised corporate HR and Admin-related policies, guidelines, and procedures approved by management.
  • Ensure updated policies, processes, and forms relevant to employee relations concerns are communicated and accessible to everyone.
  • Act as HR representative for all employee relations and labor issues.
  • Perform/conduct administrative hearing/investigation of reported incidents. Facilitate the disciplinary process. Monitor and ensure proper documentation of disciplinary cases.
  • Attend and represent the company during labor cases hearings.
  • Conduct employee counselling.
  • Mediate between employee and superior in resolving performance-related issues.
  • Address staff queries on company policies and benefits; coordinate with management to resolve issues.
  • Conduct exit interviews with outgoing employees and submit report to management.
  • Route and monitor clearance of resigned employees.
  • Maintain 201 files of all employees under his/her care and ensure 201 files of all inactive employees are secured and recorded based on RRS.
  • Participate in the annual business planning process and prepare HR reports.
