Description
- Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Managing the recruitment and selection process
- Supporting employee opportunities for professional development
- Creating and revising job descriptions
- Developing, recommending and implementing personnel policies and procedures
- Conducting new employee orientations and employee relations counseling
- Overseeing exit interviews
- Maintaining department records and reports
- Participating in administrative staff meetings
- Maintaining organizational charts and detailed job descriptions along with salary records
- Ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HR Supervisor or similar role
- Knowledge of HR functions (recruitment, training & development)
- Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
- BSc/BA in human resources, business administration or relevant field; MSc/MA in human resources will be a plus
