- Responsible for accurately transcribing medical dictations and patient records.
- Ensures compliance with HIPAA regulations and quality standards.
- Collaborates with healthcare professionals to clarify documentation needs.
- Maintains confidentiality and security of sensitive patient information.
- Utilizes electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.
- Continuously updates knowledge on medical terminology and coding practices.
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in administration or business related.
- Experience Level: Less than 1 year of experience in healthcare documentation or related field.
- Skills and Competencies: Keen attention to detail, excellent time management, strong verbal and written communication skills, proficient computer skills, and ability to work under pressure.
- Working Conditions: Office environment, typical hours include standard business hours, with occasional additional hours as needed.
- Qualities and Traits: Organized, diligent, adaptable, and a team player committed to delivering high-quality work.
