Appraisal Reviewer (US) 

Role: 

We are looking for experienced Collateral/Appraisal Reviewer. As a Collateral/Appraisal Reviewer, you will be responsible for analyzing and verifying property data to support our Underwriter and Post Closing team with assessing the subject property in meeting the FNMA, FHLMC and investor guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and analyze the value of the subject properties.
• You’ll bring an in depth knowledge of residential real estate valuations/appraisals to confirm and clarify the value of the collateral as presented by property valuation products.
• Research subject property and comparable based on online sources including county records & MLS, and information provided by real estate professionals and homeowners.
• Work closely with the Underwriting and Post Closing teams to ensure a high level of analytical quality.
• Ensure LOS is updated with all relevant appraisal data, including but not limited to: appraised value, property type, value, HOA dues (if applicable), address, appraisal completed date, appraiser and appraiser’s license info, etc.
• Double check appraisers on exclusionary list of investors.
• Identify errors or deficiencies in the appraisal and update the relevant appraisal conditions.
• Review desk reviews, SSRs, and/or secondary appraisal products for acceptability within product guidelines.
• Respond to audits and post-closing issues in a timely manner.

• 2+ years experience as Collateral/Appraisal Underwriter or Reviewer is a must
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
