Description

Responsibilities

  • Treat growth as an engineering and trading problem
  • Break down the full funnel from acquisition → activation → trading
  • Combine trading behavior and market structure to identify the growth levers that truly drive trading volume
  • Own growth engineering end-to-end
  • Frontend: landing pages, signup flows, activation paths, and trading guidance
  • Backend: growth-related services, experimentation logic, and data pipelines
  • Smart contracts (when applicable): interaction with contracts related to incentives, trading, and settlement
  • Deeply participate in trading-driven growth design
  • Develop a strong understanding of the relationship between orders, trading frequency, liquidity, and user behavior
  • Work closely with quant and market making teams to optimize the conversion from first trade to sustained trading activity
  • Own the integrity and usability of growth data
  • Event design, metric definitions, cohort analysis, and experiment tracking
  • Act as a “manager-type” engineer
  • Break down tasks, set priorities, and drive cross-functional collaboration
  • Continuously push outcomes forward in high-uncertainty environments

Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of development experience with mature system and product judgment
  • Practical understanding of, or hands-on experience in, trading
  • Background in exchanges, DeFi, perps, prediction markets, market making, or high-frequency trading is a strong plus
  • Strong ownership mindset with a manager-type personality

Nice to Have

  • Understanding of trading systems, matching engines, order flow, or liquidity mechanics
  • Experience with global growth or multi-region products
  • Experience building growth infrastructure or experimentation platforms
  • Experience with Web3 incentive design, referrals, points, or loyalty systems
