A forklift operator's job is to use a forklift to move goods around warehouses and other industrial sites. Their responsibilities include: 

• Loading and unloading: Receiving and unloading deliveries, and loading shipments ahead of schedule
• Stacking: Stacking boxes for storage
• Tracking: Tracking heavy materials
• Filling orders: Filling orders and interacting with customers
• Inventory: Counting and organizing inventory
• Safety: Operating all equipment safely and following safety guidelines

• Certification: A valid forklift operator's license and certification from a recognized body 
• Education: A high school diploma or GED 
• Physical condition: Be in good physical condition 
• Skills: Have excellent hand-eye coordination, peripheral vision, and spatial relationships 
• Communication: Have good written and verbal communication skills 
• Math: Have mathematical aptitude and be able to perform basic math 
• Organizational skills: Have good organizational skills and attention to detail 
• Reading: Be able to read and understand packaging, shipping documents, and safety guidelines 
• Teamwork: Be able to work independently and as part of a team 
• Can driving 4-6 wheels
