Description
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and warehouse shelves.
- Ensure safety protocols and regulations are followed.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize efficiency.
- Report any safety issues or equipment malfunctions.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience Level: Less than 1 year of experience in heavy equipment operation, preferably in a warehouse or construction setting.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in operating forklifts and other heavy machinery; strong attention to safety protocols.
- Working Conditions: Often in warehouse environments, exposed to outdoor elements and noise; must follow safety guidelines.
- Qualities and Traits: Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to work as part of a team.
