Job Summary:

The Physical Plant Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of all physical facilities, buildings, and equipment of the SFIC Philippine North Province. The position ensures that facilities are safe, functional, and aligned with the congregation’s mission of stewardship and service.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee daily operations, maintenance, and repairs of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
  2. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for facilities and utilities (water, electricity, ventilation, etc.).
  3. Supervise contractors, service providers, and maintenance staff to ensure quality and timely work.
  4. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and government regulations.
  5. Monitor utility usage and recommend cost-saving measures.
  6. Coordinate with the Provincial Leadership Team and community administrators regarding facility needs and priorities.
  7. Maintain updated records of facility assets, warranties, and maintenance schedules.
  8. Prepare and manage the annual budget for physical plant operations.
  9. Respond to emergency repairs and urgent facility concerns promptly.
  10. Promote environmentally sustainable practices within the facilities.


Job Requirements:

  • Graduate of Engineering or Facilities Management (preferred)
  • 3–5 years of related experience
  • Knowledge in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural systems
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Willing to travel to SFIC communities
