Role Overview

EDGE Tutor is looking for Core ESL Tutors to deliver structured online lessons in a well-supported environment.

As a Core Tutor, you will teach learners from 30+ nationalities, strengthen your communication and teaching skills, and gain global classroom experience.

No prior ESL experience is required—all new tutors receive training and free TEFL certification.

Teaching Commitment

Available Teaching Blocks:

• Weekdays: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM Philippine Time

• Weekends: 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM Philippine Time

• Minimum 25 teaching hours per week for part-time

• Two rest days weekly, with at least one weekend day preferred

• High class demand ensures consistent bookings

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver structured and engaging English lessons to children and adult learners

• Conduct 1-on-1 and small group sessions using provided lesson materials

• Use props, visual aids, and interactive techniques to enhance learning

• Provide constructive and encouraging feedback after each class

• Track learner participation and progress

• Adapt teaching strategies to learners’ age, skill level, and cultural background

• Follow lesson frameworks and maintain high teaching standards

• Participate in professional development and ongoing training

Earnings and Incentives

• ₱140–₱200 per booked session

• Potential monthly earnings of ₱32,000–₱40,000

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field

• Standard pronunciation

• Enjoys working with children

• Applicants without ESL experience are welcome

• TEFL certificate or willingness to obtain one

• NBI or Police Clearance

Work From Home Requirements

• Laptop or desktop with Intel i5 8th Gen+ (or equivalent), 8GB RAM minimum, CPU score ≥ 3500

• External 1080p webcam and noise-cancelling headset

• Wired internet with at least 25 Mbps download/upload, plus 15 Mbps backup (mobile hotspots not allowed)

• Power backup for a minimum of 8 hours
