Role Overview

EDGE Tutor is looking for Premium Tutors to deliver structured, engaging English lessons to adult learners worldwide.

Lesson frameworks and materials are provided, and tutors receive full support from academic and operations teams.

No prior ESL experience is required—training and free TEFL certification are provided.

Teaching Commitment

Available Teaching Blocks:

• 5am -12noon Philippine Time

Peak Hours: Most student bookings occur during these hours, ensuring high utilization.

Minimum 25 teaching hours per week for part-time

Two rest days weekly, with at least one weekend day preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver structured, interactive English lessons to adult learners

• Conduct 1-on-1 and small group sessions tailored to learners’ goals

• Use visual aids, props, and interactive tools to enhance engagement

• Provide constructive feedback to support student progress

• Track learner progress and participation

• Adapt teaching strategies to learners’ skill levels and cultural backgrounds

• Follow lesson frameworks and maintain high teaching standards

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Earnings and Incentives

• ₱180–₱200 per booked session

• High utilization due to peak-hour student demand

• Potential earnings up to ₱40,000 per month

• Performance-based incentives

Guaranteed Pay (First 2 Months if Full Slots Opened):

• ₱17,000 for 25 hrs/week

• ₱23,000 for 51 hrs/week

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline

• TEFL, TESOL, or equivalent certification

• Advanced spoken English proficiency

• ESL or adult teaching experience preferred, but not required

• Experience in corporate training, BPO, or client-facing roles is an advantage
