Role Overview

EDGE Tutor is looking for Business English Trainers to conduct structured online lessons for adult learners, including managers, team leads, and executives.

Lesson plans and materials are provided, and trainers receive full support from academic and operations teams.

No prior ESL experience is required—training and free TEFL certification are provided.

Teaching Commitment

Available Teaching Blocks:

• Early Morning to Early Afternoon

• Mid-Afternoon

• Evening

Peak Hours: Most student bookings occur from 5:00 AM – 12:00 NN Philippine Time.

High booking demand throughout the day ensures consistent utilization.

Minimum 25 teaching hours per week for part-time

Two rest days weekly, with at least one weekend day preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver structured online Business English lessons to adult learners

• Conduct 1-on-1 and small group sessions tailored to learners’ needs

• Focus on conversational, professional, and business communication skills

• Provide personalized feedback and guidance to support skill development

• Track and monitor student progress

• Adapt teaching methods for varying proficiency levels and cultural backgrounds

• Follow lesson frameworks and maintain high teaching standards

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development

• Coordinate with academic and operations teams to ensure quality learning

Earnings and Incentives

• ₱180 to ₱220 per completed session

• High utilization rate due to peak-hour demand

• Potential monthly earnings up to ₱40,000

• Performance-based incentives

Guaranteed Pay (First 2 Months if Full Slots Opened):

• ₱17,000 for 25 hrs/week

• ₱23,000 for 51 hrs/week

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline

• TEFL, TESOL, or equivalent certification

• Advanced spoken English proficiency

• Minimum 2 years of teaching, training, or facilitation experience preferred, but not required

• Business English, corporate training, BPO, or client-facing experience is an advantage
