Responsible for the administration of the entire employee discipline process, from reception and evaluation of incident reports, preparation of notices, conduct of personnel hearing/investigation, and Notice of Decision/Disciplinary Action
Assign workload and tasks with the Employee Relations Staff for the immediate action and resolutions of an issue
Train new Employee Relations Staff to familiarize with the various deliverables and strategies of handling assignments
Review and finalize the Notices prior to the signature of the HR Manager
Provide advice and guidance with Projects HROs for the government compliance/DOLE reporting and handling of the entire employee discipline process
Responsible for the monitoring of manpower reduction in all Project sites and Central Office with respect to Project-based employees
Ensure compliance to general labor standards and DOLE guidelines
Conduct Exit Interview for resigning employees and provide report on relevant findings for policy and program improvement of the company
Assist Project HROs and other concerned departments during the conduct of labor inspection, and monitor company’s compliance to labor inspection findings, if any
Handle work visa processing for Expatriate Employees and processing of work permits
Coordinate closely with Legal team for high-risk issues/concerns to get advice for better resolution, including case endorsement of labor complaint
Represent the company in DOLE complaint and recommend immediate action for settlement of the case
Interact with line managers with the view to settling employee grievances and conflicts
Handle employee grievances and other HR concerns of employees by providing advice to employee’s queries in accordance with relevant laws and company policies
Formulate, revise ER-related forms, policies, procedures, strategies, standards, and systems in the areas of employee relations
Conduct Orientation on Handling of Administrative Cases and Company Code of Conduct for Project HROs
Maintain database on Blacklisted employees, Admin Cases, Labor Complaints, Resignation, and Manpower Reduction (redundancy & retrenchment)
Assist with Employee engagement activities (Team building, company-sponsored holy mass, company events, etc.)
Perform such other related functions as may be required by his/her Immediate Superior or the Management
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) is often preferred.
Ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism.
3-5 years of experience in human resources with a focus on employee relations, conflict resolution, and compliance.
