Description
- Administer first aid treatment in case of accidents or sudden illness.
- Perform CPR, wound care, bandaging, and other basic life support measures.
- Assess the injured/ill worker’s condition and coordinate with emergency medical services (EMS) if needed.
- Maintain and regularly check first aid kits, supplies, and medical equipment at the site.
- Document all incidents, treatments provided, and referrals for medical attention.
- Assist in emergency response and evacuation procedures as part of the safety team.
- Support the Safety Officer in promoting health and safety awareness among workers.
- Ensure confidentiality and professional conduct when handling medical cases.
Requirements
- Certified First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) provider (preferably Red Cross / DOLE-accredited).
- Knowledge of CPR, AED use, wound care, fracture management, and handling common workplace injuries.
- Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Physically fit, attentive to detail, and capable of lifting or assisting injured workers if necessary.
- Compassionate, reliable, and able to work well with diverse teams.
