Description
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings and industrial equipment
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, plans, and technical diagrams
- Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical panels, circuit breakers, and electrical devices
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards or defects
- Perform troubleshooting of electrical faults and respond to emergency repairs
- Ensure that electrical systems comply with electrical codes and safety standards
- Test electrical systems using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and oscilloscopes
- Assist in the installation and testing of new electrical systems during construction or renovation projects
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other technicians when necessary
- Document all electrical work and maintenance activities for reporting and compliance
Requirements
- Must be a high school graduate or hold a vocational diploma in Electrical Technology or a related course
- TESDA NC II in Electrical Installation and Maintenance is required
- TESDA NC III or RME License (Registered Master Electrician) from PRC is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical works (industrial or commercial setting preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Philippine Electrical Code (PEC)
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments
- Physically fit, detail-oriented, and capable of working at heights or in confined spaces
- With good moral character and safety-oriented mindset
- Willing to do field work.
