The Electrical Engineer is involved in all aspects of design and administration of projects from design development, detailing, shop drawing reviews, site inspections, quality control and testing/commissioning. This is a hands on role for the delivery of commercial construction, fitout and refurbishment projects.


Responsibilities

  • Design of all electrical services for commercial buildings, fitouts and refurbishments
  • Document design using BIM (Revit) to create tender, permit and for construction drawing sets
  • Prepare specifications and sample submittals
  • Coordinate design with other disciplines
  • Simulate lighting design using Dialux
  • Manage testing and inspection plan and witness all testing performed
  • Conduct periodic site quality inspections


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience as an electrical design engineer
  • PRC license


Experience, skills and organisational knowledge

  • Expert knowledge in design of Lightning, Lighting Controls, Power, FDAS, Security and Data Lay-outs, Schematic Design and Schedules
  • Advanced skills in Revit, Navisworks, Revit MEP, PowerCad-5, AGI and Dialux
