  • Measure and cut drywall panels to fit walls and ceilings according to specifications.
  • Install drywall using screws or nails to secure it to the wooden or metal framework.
  • Apply tape and joint compound to seams and holes to prepare for finishing.
  • Ensure a high level of quality in finishing by sanding and smoothing surfaces.
  • Collaborate with other construction team members to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.


Requirements

  • Educational Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience Level: Up to 2 years of experience in drywall installation or related field
  • Skills and Competencies: Knowledge of housing construction practices
  • Skills and Competencies: Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively
  • Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions accurately
  • Working Conditions: Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor environments
