SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and reliable Cyber Security Specialist to take the lead in safeguarding our digital assets, infrastructure, and user data. This role is essential in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and services. You will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, implementing preventive measures, and responding to potential threats across the organization.

This is a remote, full-time position offering flexible work hours, performance-based compensation, and the opportunity to contribute directly to strategic security operations in a growing digital tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and penetration testing on internal systems and services.
• Develop and enforce company-wide security policies and operational procedures.
• Monitor and analyze network traffic for anomalies and suspicious behavior.
• Respond swiftly to incidents, breaches, and system alerts, with clear documentation.
• Configure, maintain, and update firewalls, endpoint protection, and IDS/IPS tools.
• Provide internal training and knowledge sharing on cybersecurity awareness.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and product teams to embed security best practices in SDLC.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging threats, and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in cybersecurity or information security.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Burp Suite, Wireshark, Nessus, Metasploit, or similar.
• Proficient in managing and analyzing firewall logs, endpoint protection, and access controls.
• Familiar with OS environments such as Linux, Windows Server, and network architecture.
• Strong analytical thinking, incident response planning, and clear communication skills.
• Industry certifications are a strong plus (e.g., CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+).

Salary: USD $4,500 – $7,000 / month (based on experience)
