Job Summary

The Operations Driver is responsible for safely transporting technical staff to on-site locations and performing pick-up and delivery of items to support daily operational requirements. The role also includes performing collections as assigned by the Billing and Finance team when needed. The Operations Driver ensures timely, secure, and efficient transport services while maintaining company vehicles and complying with company policies and safety standards.

Job Descriptions

• Safely drive and transport technical staff to and from client sites, offices, and other assigned locations.
• Perform pick-up and delivery of samples, equipment, documents, and other operational items as required.
• Conduct collections from clients as assigned by the Billing and Finance team and ensure proper documentation and endorsement of collected payments.
• Ensure items transported are handled properly to avoid damage, loss, or misidentification.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries, collections, and vehicle usage.
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and ensure company vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained.
• Immediately report vehicle issues, accidents, delays, or incidents to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow assigned schedules, routes, and operational instructions to ensure timely service delivery.
• Coordinate with Operations, Logistics, and Finance teams for task updates and confirmations.
• Comply with company policies, traffic laws, safety regulations, and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Valid professional driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a company or operations driver is an advantage.
• Familiarity with local routes and traffic conditions.
• Basic knowledge of documentation handling and cash collection procedures.
• Physically fit and able to assist with loading and unloading items.
• Trustworthy, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions

• May require extended driving hours depending on operational needs.
• Field-based work with frequent travel to client sites.
• Must be willing to perform collections and handle operational tasks as assigned.
