Description

  1. Customer Service: Provide excellent service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with purchases in a friendly and professional manner.

  1. Cash Handling: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and provide correct change.

  1. Inventory Support: Assist in restocking and organizing merchandise, ensuring the cashier area is clean and well-maintained.

  1. Product Scanning: Operate a register, scan items, and ensure correct pricing and promotions are applied.

  1. Transaction Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales, returns, and exchanges, and ensure compliance with store policies and procedures.

  1. Previous Cashiering Experience: Experience in retail or similar customer-facing roles preferred.

  1. Mathematical Skills: Strong ability to handle cash and make accurate calculations quickly.

  1. Communication Skills: Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers effectively.

  1. Attention to Detail: Ensure accurate scanning of items and proper transaction processing.

  1. Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Able to stay organized and focused during busy periods.
