The Handyman is responsible for performing general maintenance, repair, and upkeep of facilities and equipment to ensure a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment. This role handles minor repairs and assists with preventive maintenance tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of facilities and equipment
• Repair or replace damaged fixtures, fittings, and minor equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs
• Assist in installation and relocation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment
• Report major repair needs to the supervisor or management
• Ensure tools and materials are properly maintained and stored
• Follow safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Vocational/Technical Course is an advantage
• At least 1–2 years of experience as a Handyman, Maintenance Staff, or similar role
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance
• Physically fit and able to perform manual work
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Willing to work flexible schedules and respond to urgent repairs
