Description

  • Finisher Carpenter.
  • Construct, install, and repair structures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
  • Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
  • Measure, cut, and shape materials according to precise measurements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and building codes.
  • Work collaboratively with other trades and team members.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Requirements

  • Educational Qualifications: No formal degree required.
  • Experience Level: 1-3 years in carpentry, specifically in finishing carpentry.
  • Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in woodworking tools, attention to detail, and ability to read blueprints.
  • Responsibilities and Duties: Install trim, cabinets, and moldings; ensure quality finishes; collaborate with other contractors.
  • Working Conditions: Varying environments, often outdoors; may require lifting heavy materials.
  • Qualities and Traits: Strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and good communication.
