Description
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications.
- Select and purchase materials for projects.
- Ensure safety regulations and building codes are followed.
- Collaborate with other trades and professionals on construction projects.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: High/Senior High School diploma required.
- Experience Level: 1-3 years of relevant carpentry experience preferred.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in woodworking, blueprint reading, and carpentry tools; strong attention to detail.
- Working Conditions: May involve working outdoors, lifting heavy materials, and exposure to noise.
- Qualities and Traits: Strong problem-solving skills, reliability, and a commitment to safety.
