Description
- Prepare and cut meats according to specifications.
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards in the workplace.
- Provide excellent customer service and advice on meat selection.
- Handle inventory and assist in stock management.
- Skillfully operate meat cutting equipment.
- Understand and apply food handling regulations.
- Prepare, cut, and package meat; maintain cleanliness of workspace; assist customers.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: High/Senior High School diploma required.
- Experience Level: Less than 1 year of experience in a butcher role preferred.
- Skills and Competencies: Knowledgeable in meat preparation and cutting techniques; understanding of food safety standards.
- Working Conditions: Fast-paced environment; may involve standing for long periods and heavy lifting.
- Qualities and Traits: Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for quality meat products.
