Description

As a Growth & Partnerships Associate, you will play a pivotal role in driving HeyApril’s revenue growth by managing our marketing and sales activities and delivering a seamless buying experience for our clients. You will report directly to the Business Development Manager, working closely with internal and external partners to meet and exceed our revenue targets.


In this role, you’ll balance strategic marketing efforts with hands-on sales activities. You’ll be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, developing partnerships, crafting proposals, and building relationships that ensure client success, retention, and satisfaction.


This position is remote-first, and you must be open to working on a US schedule to align with our clients’ needs.


Marketing & Partnerships

  • Execute a variety of marketing activities, including co-marketing partnerships, event sponsorships, industry partnerships, email marketing, content marketing, and digital campaigns.
  • Create and maintain effective marketing and sales materials, documentation, and visuals to support campaigns and client presentations.


Prospecting & Qualifying

  • Proactively source and identify early-stage leads through online research, networking at industry events, and referrals.
  • Conduct research to understand prospects’ business needs and pain points, aligning HeyApril’s solutions to address them.


Consultative Selling

  • Conduct thorough needs analyses to map the customer journey and identify opportunities to help clients overcome challenges.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and customized proposals.
  • Negotiate with prospects and resolve sales issues to successfully close deals.


Client Relationship Management

  • Own the full relationship with assigned customers, including onboarding, implementation, training, retention, and ongoing support.
  • Serve as the main day-to-day contact for assigned accounts, building trust and rapport while identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Assist clients with after-sales support, including payment collection when needed.


Operations & Reporting

  • Accurately and promptly record all marketing and sales activities in the company’s CRM.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly reports on marketing and sales performance.
  • Contribute to other marketing and sales initiatives as needed to support the company’s evolving goals.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Sales, or a related field.


Work Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of B2B sales experience with direct communication with decision-makers.
  • Prior experience working with CRM systems is preferred but not required.


Knowledge & Skills

  • CRM proficiency (preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong time management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.


Attitude & Personality

  • Goal-oriented and intentional about personal development.
  • Adaptable, agile, and proactive in addressing challenges.
  • Preferably extroverted and enjoys building connections.


Work Setup

  • Open to working remote with occasional onsite days for meetings and training.
  • Must be willing to work on a US time zone schedule.
