REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in billing, collection, or a related financial role
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software


JOB SUMMARY

The Billing and Collection Specialist is responsible for managing the company’s accounts receivable processes, including monitoring payments, following up on overdue accounts, and ensuring timely collections in line with company policies and procedures.


JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Monitor customer payments
  • Sends out reminder emails to customers with bounced checks or missed payments
  • Sends out demand letter and Statement of Account (SOA) to customers with overdue accounts
  • Liaises with customers and agents regarding collections and interest computations
  • Prepares Official Receipts of customers
  • Prepare monthly aging schedule
  • Prepare monthly collections forecast
  • Other ad hoc requirements
