The MIS Officer is primarily responsible for the design, development of data visualization (Qlik Sense, Qlikview, Power BI, or Tableau) and dashboard. The position would help the DRM Team manage automating existing and recurring excel reports to lessen the workload of other resources, facilitate change requests and enhancements, and develop new dashboards such as but not limited to

• Regulatory and profit sharing reports tied with MIS
• Reports that need “drill downs” and “deep dives” so that BUs can freely analyze data
• Reports for new products and newly onboarded partners.

Also, to ensure that data transformation and aggregation are consistent and well documented

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job or
• Bachelor's in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering/Operations Research, Informatics or any related field
• MBA a plus
• >=3 years of relevant experience in MIS, data science, analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, and data analysis
• >=1 years of relevant experience in consulting, banking, credit, collections

Technical Skills:

Minimum requirement:

• Database/Querying languages: SQL, Hive, or SAS
• Programming languages: Python, R, or Bash A plus:

Data visualization:

• Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI
• Feature selection, transformation, and engineering

Functional Skills:

• Consulting background with knowledge of various processes and industries
• Impact assessment to business metrics
• Identification of business questions and opportunities
• Data storytelling and insight generation

• Stakeholder management able to handle multiple engagements simultaneously
• Good communication skills able to translate technical concepts into business terms in writing and in presentation format
• Structured and organized in thought process, able to translate big projects into a clear methodology
• Good analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
