1. Beverage Preparation & Service

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
• Recommend wine pairings and cocktails based on guest preferences and food orders.
• Ensure proper portion control and presentation of drinks.

2. Wine Expertise

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the wine list, including varietals, regions, tasting notes, and food pairings.
• Educate guests and staff on wine selections and promote featured wines.
• Assist in inventory management and restocking of wine and spirits.

3. Guest Interaction

• Greet guests warmly and engage in friendly, professional conversation.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints with grace and efficiency.
• Create a welcoming and lively atmosphere at the bar.

4. Bar Operations

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate needs to the Bar Manager.

5. Cash Handling & POS

• Accurately process orders through the POS system.
• Handle cash and card transactions securely and responsibly.
• Balance cash drawer at the end of shifts.

6. Team Collaboration

• Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Support special events and promotions as needed.

• Proven experience as a bartender in a wine-focused or upscale bar/restaurant.
• 1-3 working experience
• Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, and mixology.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in Responsible Alcohol Service (e.g., TIPS or equivalent) preferred.
