Configure, install, and manage servers and network devices.
Troubleshoot and resolve system and network issues to ensure minimal downtime.
Implement and enforce IT security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and VPNs.
Monitor system and network performance, identifying bottlenecks and optimizing reliability.
Provide 24/7 technical support during shared coverage schedules.
Maintain documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures.
Support end-users with network and server-related concerns.
Collaborate with IT team members on infrastructure improvement projects.

Willing to work in Cayman Brac, Cayman Islands
Bachelor’s degree or at least two (2) years formal education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering-related courses.
Minimum of three (3) years working experience in server and network administration.
Strong knowledge of:
Windows servers, Active Directory, Group Policy, WSUS
Linux systems (Red Hat, CentOS, Oracle Linux)
Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, vSphere)
Enterprise backup software (e.g., Veeam, Symantec, Commvault)
Hands-on experience with:
Configuring switches, routers, and firewalls
VPN setup and troubleshooting (site-to-site, remote access)
HP server hardware configuration
Load balancer concepts
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Fluent in English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision.
Bonus skills: Open-source databases, Linux volume manager, storage and backups, open-source mail servers (Sendmail, Postfix, Qmail).
