THE OPPORTUNITY
Our partner, a leading full-service Australian insurance brokerage offering general insurance, finance broking, professional/financial risk management, claims administration, and risk advisory services, is seeking an additional Assistant Client Executive to join their SME Team.
As the Assistant Client Executive supporting our client's Small/Medium Enterprise accounts, you will respond to action items from Account Brokers, Account Managers, and the Divisional Manager. You will also deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients while providing high-level support to team members to ensure the timely
and efficient completion of all requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the provision of excellent service to clients and deliver the highest quality input to insurers.
- Preparing correspondence between clients and underwriters for approval by the Client Manager.
- Processing renewal and new business documentation for clients.
- Obtaining funding quotations.
- Monthly review and reporting of aged debtors for clients.
- Following a strict schedule of high-level tasks.
- Processing and analyzing reports, and providing factual commentary for Client Manager approval.
- Processing endorsements and amendments.
- Preparing correspondence and reports between clients and insurers.
- Providing a high level of administrative support to the broking team and the administration team.
Skills, Experience & Qualification
- Diploma or Degree in Business/Finance/Commerce or equivalent is advantageous.
- 2-3 years of working experience in the Insurance Broking Industry.
- Working towards further appropriate qualifications (Tier 1 & Tier 2 Insurance Broking Compliance).
- Australian broking experience is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to assist in developing relationships and liaising with clients at all levels.
- Customer service skills and business acumen.
- Proficient in administrative and IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
