APAC Digital Product Assistant Manager

Overview

Bostik Philippines is seeking an innovative and detail-oriented professional to join our team as the APAC Digital Product Assistant Manager. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with Regional Product Line Directors, Marketing, Technology Product Line Managers, Account Managers, and IT Teams. You’ll be responsible for developing and refining our processes for data standards and quality, ensuring our Product Information Management (PIM) and Master Data Platform (MDP) initiatives set the benchmark in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

Process Development & Oversight:

• Develop, implement, and manage processes and procedures governing data standards and quality for our PIM system solution.
• Optimize workflows for both contributing teams and content users, incorporating best practices and feedback for continuous improvement.

Operational Collaboration:

• Partner with system contributors and users to operationalize, monitor, and evolve PIM practices, ensuring world-class content across products and customer e-commerce platforms.

Strategic Roadmapping:

• Collaborate with system users and IT teams to define short- and long-term objectives.
• Develop and align a strategic technical roadmap for the PIM/MDP system with business goals.

E-Commerce Schema Management:

• Serve as the decision maker for the e-commerce product information schema.
• Work with contributing teams to maintain and enhance data consistency.

Data Process Documentation:

• Document existing data collection processes and maintain a comprehensive catalog of distributor information requirements, data sources, and data owners.

Publication & Syndication Governance:

• Oversee publication and syndication processes.
• Map retailer requirements to PIM/DAM content for publication channels and coordinate with contributors to address channel gaps.

Content Lifecycle Management:

• Develop and manage lifecycle processes for content refreshes and seasonal updates tailored for partners and platforms.
• Assist in the digital shelf setup and content updates to ensure timely and optimized publication.

Project & Program Management:

• Lead cross-functional projects to implement PIM enhancements and system changes necessary for continued growth.
• Establish reporting frameworks and data quality scorecards to drive collaboration and decision-making.

Industry Trends Monitoring:

• Stay informed on trends and best practices in e-commerce content, site merchandising, and online user experience to adapt and evolve our strategies.

Qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with an eCommerce PIM/MDP system, with deep insights into data usage trends and industry requirements.

Technical Expertise:

• Familiarity with integration across PIM, Digital Asset Management (DAM), and MDP systems.
• Experience with GS1 Standards, GDSN, and ETIM standards is preferred.
• Proficiency with Akeneo is a significant advantage.

Program Management:

• Proven ability to manage data-driven processes, lead cross-functional teams, and drive change in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Organizational & Communication Skills:

• Exceptional organizational capabilities, with the ability to prioritize and coordinate with international stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with a knack for clarifying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Leadership & Initiative:

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
• Demonstrated ability to guide analytical discussions and lead initiatives even when not the subject matter expert.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
