Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, ensuring optimal air quality for our clients. You will also guide and advise customers on selecting the best air quality systems for their specific needs. You will take charge of HVAC systems from installation through to end-of-life, performing regular maintenance, handling warranty claims, and providing emergency repair services as required.

The ideal candidate will prioritize customer satisfaction, safety, and comfort, with a strong focus on troubleshooting, organization, and maintaining high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation: Install, maintain, and repair ventilation, air conditioning, and heating systems and related equipment.
• System Maintenance: Conduct routine and preventive maintenance checks to ensure optimal system performance.
• Diagnostics: Identify and diagnose electrical and mechanical faults within HVAC systems, providing swift and effective solutions.
• Repairs: Perform cleaning, adjustment, and repair of systems, ensuring maximum efficiency and longevity.
• Emergency Services: Respond promptly to emergency repair calls, providing quick solutions to HVAC-related issues.
• Technical Support: Provide clear guidance and on-the-job training to junior technicians as needed.
• Documentation: Maintain daily logs and records of all maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations, ensuring compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and appliance standards.
• Customer Support: Assist customers with inquiries and offer expert advice on HVAC products and services tailored to their specific needs.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all installations, maintenance, and repairs meet service standards and customer expectations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, their components, and the tools used for installation and maintenance.
• Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
