Description
- Analyze statistical data to estimate risks and liabilities
- Develop and maintain actuarial models and forecasting tools
- Collaborate with actuaries and financial teams to support pricing strategies
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management and stakeholders
- Validate and ensure accuracy of data used in actuarial analyses
- Assist in regulatory compliance and reporting requirements
- Monitor emerging trends and update models accordingly
- Support risk management and capital allocation decisions
- Communicate complex actuarial concepts to non-technical audiences
- Contribute to continuous improvement of actuarial processes and methodologies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- Strong proficiency in statistical software such as SAS, R, or Python
- Knowledge of actuarial principles and insurance industry practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards
- Progress toward actuarial professional certifications (e.g., SOA, CAS) preferred
- Experience with data visualization tools is a plus
