As an Accounting Supervisor - Treasury at B.Braun, you will play a vital role in managing treasury functions and cash management activities within the organization. This position is responsible for overseeing daily cash operations, monitoring liquidity needs, and ensuring compliance with treasury policies and procedures. The Accounting Supervisor - Treasury works closely with internal and external stakeholders to optimize cash flow, mitigate financial risks, and support strategic financial objectives.

Your key responsibilities:

• Oversee daily cash positioning and forecasting to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs, and monitor cash inflows and outflows, including payments, receipts, and investment transactions.
• Optimize cash balances and manage short-term investments to maximize returns while maintaining liquidity.
• Manage banking relationships and coordinate banking activities, including account openings, closures, and signatories.
• Review bank fees and services to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for bank inquiries and resolve banking-related issues.
• Analyze cash flow trends and variances to forecast future cash needs and identify potential liquidity risks.
• Prepare cash flow projections and reports for management review and decision-making.
• Recommend strategies to optimize cash flow, minimize borrowing costs, and mitigate financial risks.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of treasury transactions and adherence to internal controls.
• Develop and maintain treasury policies and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Identify and assess financial risks, including interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk, and counterparty risk.
  
  

What you will bring to the team:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation preferred.
• 5 - 10 years of experience in treasury, cash management, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of treasury principles, cash management techniques, and banking operations.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, including cash flow forecasting and risk assessment.
