The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial records, and maintaining compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies. This role involves supervising accounting staff, preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, and supporting audits and budgeting activities.

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

·        Strong knowledge of month-end and year-end closing processes

·        Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel

·        Proven ability to manage daily accounting operations independently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data

·        Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to implement internal controls

·        Accounting and Treasury

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

·        BS in Accountancy or any related courses

·        CPA license is an advantage but not required

·        Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field

·        At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the full accounting cycle, including general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting

·        Experience in government compliance (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) is required

·        Prior experience supervisory experience
