Audit Assistance

• Support audit teams in the execution of audits, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Assist in preparing working papers and documentation for audits and financial reviews.
• Perform analytical procedures and reconciliations of financial data.

Financial Statement Preparation

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for clients or internal use.
• Review financial data for accuracy and ensure it aligns with established guidelines.

Client Interaction

• Communicate with clients to gather required financial information and resolve any questions.
• Provide support during client meetings, including note-taking and action-item follow-up.

Accounting Support

• Support day-to-day accounting functions such as general ledger entries, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Review and assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.

Compliance & Regulatory Support

• Assist in ensuring all financial practices and audits adhere to industry standards, laws, and internal policies.
• Help track changes in financial regulations and implement necessary changes in practices.

Ad Hoc Projects

• Assist senior auditors and accountants in various tasks and special projects as needed.
• Continuously improve audit procedures by identifying process improvements and efficiencies.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or expected completion).

Experience

• 0–2 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or related fields is preferred, but not required.
• Internship experience in accounting or auditing is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP).
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
