Handle the day-to-day operational accounting functions
Prepare / process the following: Book of Accounts, Monthly Financial Statement, Journals, Month End report and Balance Sheet
Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents
Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
Assist business with regulatory reporting requirements
Maintain financial security by following internal controls
Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements
Prepare internal regular Financial reports to management detailing overall financial
position of the the business
Responsible for the compliance of annual audit requirements by preparing year-end Financial Statements supported by Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss schedules
Experience with tax accounting and preparation
Timely completion of work in accordance with the reporting timetables
Action other tasks or duties due to business exigencies or as deemed necessary by management to achieve business goals

Requirements

Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
With significant working experience in general accounting
Ability to cope with change
Ability to prioritise and work with less supervision
Time management and multi-tasking skills, able to work under pressure
Strong attention to detail
Excellent analytical skill
Communicate effectively with associates across all levels of the organization
Ability to provide insight based on analysis
