Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure timely posting of journal entries.
• Monitor project-level financial performance and reconcile project expenses, revenues, and capitalized costs.
• Oversee accounting for assets related to renewable energy projects, including depreciation, amortization, and component-based asset tracking.
• Support preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Analyze variances between actuals vs. budget to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Provide financial analysis for new renewable energy projects, including cost modeling, ROI, and funding requirements
• Assist with cash flow forecasting and monitoring.
• Manage project-based accounting for construction, EPC activities, and O&M operations.
• Track CAPEX and OPEX across renewable energy projects and reconcile with procurement and project management teams.
• Ensure accurate cost allocation, WIP monitoring, and timely project financial closure.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Support external and internal audit processes by preparing schedules, documentation, and responses.
• Monitor tax compliance, including VAT, corporate income tax, and tax incentives applicable to renewable energy projects.
• Maintain accurate financial records using ERP or accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks).
• Recommend process improvements to strengthen financial controls and increase efficiency.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial transactions.
