Job Summary:

The Accounting Officer will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing accurate financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. Experience in retail or e-commerce is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle general accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions and compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agencies, and other regulatory bodies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Assist in developing and improving accounting systems, processes, and controls.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support business operations and reporting needs.

Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in the retail or e-commerce industry.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards and taxation.
• Proficient in accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar).
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willing to work onsite.
