This position requires tertiary qualifications in accounting to be able to work independently in the remote location. Critical to the position is an eagerness to learn and to assist with routine tasks. One of the essentials of this role is the capacity to work effectively with a strong emphasis on being able to work on tasks independently from commencement to finalisation. An ability to interact well with immediate superiors as well as demonstrated confidence and presence over the phone/online meetings/emails is essential.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written are considered an important aspect of the position, as is the capacity to research, and use deductive reasoning to solve problems. An emphasis on being able to ask questions is considered an important aspect of the position. A good understanding and application of accounting software such as Xero or MYOB.
